Robitussin Chesty Cough medicine provides symptomatic relief from congested chests and coughs due to the common cold. It contains an expectorant Guaiphenesin, which increases the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract. The liquefying effect of this helps break up a cough and helps loosen congestion so that it can be coughed up and enables it to get it off the chest.
