The active ingredient of Diareze tablets is loperamide, an antimotility agent that works by decreasing the activity of the muscles in the intestinal wall.
This increases the amount of time substances stay in the intestine and allows more water to be absorbed out of the faecal matter. As a result, the stools are less watery.

Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
